There are various services that convenience to users based on their location. It's important to accurately estimate the user's location for the QoS of these services.

Since GPS signals cannot be received in indoors, it is difficult to estimate a user's location indoors.

  • Replace the GPS signal by exploiting the 2.4 GHz ISM band RF signal used for communication installed indoors.
  • Estimate the location at low cost by using the already installed infrastructure.
